LIVING INTO THE FUTURE FOUNDATION

Dedicated to supporting the ministries of the West District of the California-Pacific Conference of the United Methodist Church, by providing a variety of monetary grants to churches, clergy and laity.

UM-LITFF seeks to provide a sign of hope in the West District.  We are not just about programs and projects, but pursuing a mission of seeking peace, justice and freedom for those we serve -- the poor, deprived, and homeless.  We shall continue to work to ensure that all experience God' life-giving love.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

The United Methodist - Living Into The Future Foundation is a 501(c)3 public social service organizatioin providing resources for programs and individuals in the development and nurture of leaders and community services which promote the well-being of people so that all may  experience God's life-giving love.

UM-LITFF GRANTS

GRANTS
Grants are available to United Methodist Church congregations in the West District (Long Beach, Los Angeles, San Bernardino).

Each application is reviewed and considered based upon alignment with LITFF's Mission Statement.  Applications from organizations outside of local UM churches but affiliated with the UMC or in alignment with LITFF's Mission Statement, are also given consideration.

GRANTS

United Methodist - Living into the Future Foundation offers the following categories of grants:

LEADERSHIP INDIVIDUAL GRANTS

LEADERSHIP GRANTS         One granted per fiscal year, per person, $500 limit, leadership training and development, for clergy and/or laity

SEED GRANTS AND SUSTAINING GRANTS

SEED GRANTS - For new initiatives, new projects, new ministry, maximum $1,000

                                                                SUSTAINING GRANT - For established projects, ministries, initiatives, maximum $5,000

EMERGENCY GRANTS

EMERGENCY GRANTS  For shortfall of funding, maximum $7,500
